Doncaster Hill
http://www.doncasterhill.com
The Urban Futures Laboratory (UFL) has created a virtual model of Doncaster Hill for Manningham City Council, Victoria. Stakeholders and property developers can now navigate along roads, around sites, building exteriors and facilities before they are built. It also allows viewers to examine proposed built forms from various vantage points and to assess the impact of future developments. The virtual model also enables analysis of shadows, traffic movements and impacts. The impact of proposals on the surrounding environment during varying time and day conditions can be previewed and various design options tested.
In particular, property developers and planners is able to use this digital technology to help their audiences better visualise development proposals.

Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal
The Urban Futures Laboratory (UFL) uses the Virtual Reality Centre to provide effective real-time visualisation and design services to the governments and the development industry. During the hearing took place at the VRC where the members of the tribunal undertook a full inspection of the proposed development, including "walking" up and down the small lanes and checking views from various higher buildings that look out on the site.

Melbourne Bourke Street Mall Project
Since its creation in 1978, Bourke Street Mall has become the heart of Melbourne's retail experience: a meeting place, tourist destination, service space, tram arrival/departure hub, and an important, busy public space, not yet used to its full potential. After more than 20 years it is time to give it a fresh new look. A rejuvenated Bourke Street Mall will benefit everyone from retailers, to those who work and live and visit the city.
