Virtual CERES, Melbourne.

(The Centre for Education and Research in Environmental Strategies)- The project proposal is to develop a virtual environment of the CERES community park in order to communicate the nature of the CERES project to the broad community and to facilitate the way activities already occur on site.

We are preparing a "roadmap" for how emerging communication technologies can be introduced into the CERES environment while building on the "hands on" focus of the site. Using a games-like approach, we are developing a visual interface that will help CERES to organise and promote the wealth of data they have on site, and to use new technologies to reveal many of the "hidden" processes that underpin sustainable solutions. .
